We are the Swiss Chamber of Commerce in China (Shanghai), supporting a community of around 450 member companies. We are looking for an Operations Manager to be the backbone that keeps our membership running accurately and smoothly — the person who makes sure everything behind the scenes simply works, and who helps us modernise how we do it.
What you'll do
- Own accurate, on-time invoicing for members and event guests, working from the account managers' instructions (our external bookkeeping firm handles reconciliation).
- Keep our CRM as the single source of truth — member data accurate, current and complete.
- Run membership administration: contracts, documentation and data-privacy compliance.
- Manage the administrative onboarding of new members.
- Look after a portfolio of member accounts.
- Own a recurring member networking event (Swiss Drinks) end to end.
- Improve and help digitalise how our operations run.
What you bring
- Experience in operations, office or association management, membership or administration.
- Exceptional organisation, accuracy and follow-through.
- Confidence with invoicing / billing and CRM or database tools.
- Warm, professional interpersonal skills — comfortable with members and hosting events.
- Fluent English and Mandarin.
- Valid authorisation to work in China.
