For Swiss companies entering, developing or expanding in the Chinese market, the Swiss Chamber of Commerce in China (“SwissCham China”) provides access to the people, knowledge and support needed to move forward with confidence.
Through its network across China, SwissCham China connects companies with potential business partners, industry peers, institutions and government stakeholders. It helps members understand market developments, raise their visibility, identify opportunities and address concrete challenges encountered in their business activities.
SwissCham China supports its members by:

SWISSCHAM CHINA – A FOREIGN TRADE ACTOR
SwissCham China is an important actor of the Swiss foreign trade promotion, gathering a majority of the Swiss business Community in China. It is the only Swiss Chamber of Commerce officially registered in Mainland China.
EXTERNAL PARTNERS
SwissCham China further collaborates with external partners:
- The Embassy of Switzerland in China based in Beijing;
- Consulates General in Shanghai, Guangzhou and Hong Kong;
- Switzerland Global Enterprise and its Swiss Business Hub (SHB) in Greater China area;
- China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT);
- Other Foreign Chambers of Commerce.
and numerous other Swiss, Chinese and foreign organizations.
INTERNAL ORGANIZATION
SwissCham China is a non-profit, umbrella organization coordinating the Chinese branches. The local branches include SwissCham Beijing, SwissCham Shanghai, SwissCham South China and SwissCham South-West China, which are represented by a Board of Directors (BOD). The BOD may delegate the Chamber’s management to an Executive Director (or General Manager) in charge of managing the Chamber’s office.
NETWORK PARTNERS
SwissCham China collaborates with other independent Swiss Chinese Chambers of Commerce which includeSwiss Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong (SCCHK) and the Swiss-Chinese Chamber of Commerce (SCCC) in Switzerland (Zurich, Geneva and Lugano). Swiss interests in Taipei are further represented by a private organization called, the Trade Office of Swiss Industries (TOSI).
