TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Developing design ideas based on sales request, customer interests, budgets and market research
• Meeting with the sales, marketing and development team to discuss product ideas
• Analyzing market and industry product trends
• Create product designs using sketches and computer software
• Conduct theoretical testing on design models
• Create full product designs and specifications using computer software modeling techniques
• Select product materials, function, style and design the product manufacturing process
• Oversee development, assembly and ensure that products conform to market specifications and safety
regulations
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
• Advanced analytical and design skills with Solidworks, ProE/Creo etc.
• Knowledge of Kitchen and Bathroom industry and market trends, with business sense is a plus.
• Good project planning skills, strong initiative to complete projects and NPD process, works well both
independently and in team environment
• Relevant training and/or certifications as a Product Engineer
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Good command of German is preferred
EXPERIENCE
• Proven 2 to 5 years working experience as a Product Engineer or similar role, with experience in the
sanitation industry is a plus.
EDUCATION
• Bachelor degree or above with major in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or similar field is
preferred
